Meet the Physio & More Team
At Physio & More we believe we have put together an exceptionally skilled and talented team of people. They are waiting to help or assist you when you need them. Please read on.

Ben Wilde - Director of Clinical Services
I started life as a physiotherapist on the South Coast working as a civilian contractor for the Royal Marines 1st Assault and the Special Boat Service. From there I moved to professional football, looking after the Academy at Southampton Football Club. Relocation to London followed and completion of my Masters in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy - Sports and Performance where I picked up the student of the year award along the way. Since then I have held positions ranging from Physiotherapy Manager of a private practice to Head of Sports Medicine at a national league rugby club. I also work with the Great Britain Rowing Team.
My love of physiotherapy is not confined to athletes, as my areas of speciality include tendon conditions, spinal complaints, pain management & neuroscience and post-operative rehabilitation. I am a published author and qualified lecturer.
As Clinical Director at Physio & More I am delighted to have the opportunity to put my own stamp on things and take the lead role in the developing an individual caring approach to healthcare. Physio & More is designed for you, our client and it is not a factory fitting as many people into time slots as physically possible. I am delighted with the team we have in place and together we are making Physio & More one of London's premier healthcare facilities. I look forward to meeting you in the clinic soon.

Simon Head - Senior Chartered Physiotherapist
I graduated from King's College London with an honours degree in Physiotherapy and began my career working in private practice in a Harley Street clinic. While there I developed a variety of Physiotherapy skills, specialising in spinal pain and nerve‑related injuries. I also trained in Muscle Energy Techniques, which are used for the correction of spinal and pelvic alignment, as well as in mat and equipment‑based Pilates rehabilitation. I then moved on to work for a number of professional football clubs. This culminated in three years at AFC Wimbledon, where I have recently stepped down as the Head Physiotherapist of the club's Centre of Excellence.
Throughout my career I have helped a wide range of athletes and dancers at both professional and amateur levels prevent injuries during training and competition. I have found these skills especially useful in helping my current clients achieve their sporting or fitness goals whilst staying injury‑free.
I have a special interest in the rehabilitation of spinal pain, nerve issues and sports injuries and am an enthusiastic advocate of holistic treatment, Pilates rehabilitation and injury prevention.
At Physio & More I provide friendly, patient‑centred physiotherapy consultations, as well as sports massage and one‑to‑one Pilates exercise and rehabilitation sessions. I strive to provide the highest standards of treatment to all of my clients.
Outside of the clinic I am a keen cyclist, having recently completed a ride from London to Paris with AFC Wimbledon's Velo and Blue team. I am currently training for the 2,758m ascent of Passo dello Stelvio next year ‑ conquering the alpine pass has been a goal of mine since seeing the sheer beauty of it for the first time a few years ago.

Jonathan George - Senior Chartered Physiotherapist
I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy having previously completed a Sport and Exercise Science degree with honours at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff. I have had experience of working with a number of elite sports clubs in rugby union, rugby league and football. In addition to work at Physio & More, I am currently employed by Saracens rugby club and as part of the medical team where I work to optimise both the performance and rehabilitation of first team and academy players.
Keeping up-to-date with current research, combined with my strong passion for physiotherapy and a background in biomechanics, I have a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries as well as post-operative rehabilitation.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, playing cricket and golf and I believe this helps me to keep a work life balance. I believe it is important for all individuals (including elite athletes, the recreational sports person and the non-exercising individual) to be able to function free of injury in everyday working life as well as in leisure activities.

Sarah Wolujewicz - Women's Health Physiotherapist
Since completing my Physiotherapy degree at The University of the West of England (Bristol) in 2005, I have worked in the NHS gaining experience in a variety of areas, predominantly in the speciality of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and more recently I have worked within the speciality of Women’s Health and have treated clients with musculoskeletal pain during and after pregnancy, and with pelvic floor dysfunction.
I find this a hugely rewarding area and I enjoy being able to make a difference to a woman’s quality of life. My positive attitude and enthusiasm, as well as my clinical expertise are qualities that I hope will help you to achieve the best outcome. I ensure that my clients are provided with physiotherapy that is supported by current evidence and guidelines.
I am an affiliate member of The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health (ACPWH) and I have attended post-graduate courses approved by ACPWH. Over the last few years I have worked within a private setting treating both general musculoskeletal and Women’s Health problems. I also have experience with Pilates and am qualified to use acupuncture. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling, baking and when I’m feeling brave horse-riding!

Marie Burbidge - Senior Chartered Physiotherapist
My career in physiotherapy emerged from my involvement in professional dance. To a dancer, ‘injury’ might as well be replaced with the word ‘catastrophe’ and as a dancer I was driven to learn more. As a consequence, my desire to understand the biomechanics of injury and to promote the physical well-being of others took precedence over the opportunity for a career in dance.
Following my degree, I entered straight into private practice. I have since completed training in Pilates and enjoy adapting these exercises to suit individual needs. I have completed an ITEC Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy and I have recently won a place at Physio First’s Diamond Jubilee conference.
Whatever your fitness level or reason for seeking physiotherapy, I am eager to develop a treatment programme appropriate for you.

Zane Hall - Doctor of Chiropractic
I graduated as a chiropractor in South Africa in 2002. In almost 10 years of private practice I have always endeavoured to achieve excellence in musculo-skekletal care.
My practice ethos is accurate diagnosis, expedient symptom mitigation and rehabilitation of function to prevent recurrence. I believe in a mutualistic therapist-patient partnership working towards a common, attainable goal.
I hope that through compassion, encouragement and expertise I can help patients to be pain free and functionally efficient.

Kate Williamson - Osteopath
I graduated with honours in Osteopathic Medicine from the British School of Osteopathy London and have since worked within busy practices treating a huge variety of people. I have a particular interest in working with pre and post natal mothers and am experienced in working with babies, having three of my own! A keen swimmer and runner, I value the importance of exercise and body awareness alongside treatment.
I am also fully qualified in sports injuries and rehabilitation and am an experienced massage therapist. I use an integrated approach to osteopathy and use many techniques including structural, cranial, visceral and harmonics.

Kapilan Balasubramaniam - Osteopath
I graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London in 2008 with a Bachelor in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Naturopathy. I am particularly interested in sports injuries having played sport for over 10 years at a high level and benefiting huge amounts through osteopathic treatment.
I have a structural approach catering treatments to the individual recognising individual strengths and weaknesses to provide the highest level of patient care. I incorporate soft tissue, hydrotherapy, body mechanics and exercise rehab into forming effective treatment for clients of all ages and backgrounds.

Roz Vuorinen - Rehabilitation Therapist
Since leaving university in 2010 with a BSc in Exercise Science, Health and Rehabilitation I spent some time travelling and working abroad, mainly in Stockholm within rehabilitation of injuries. Previous to that I had 5 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry having worked in several gyms and health clubs. Exercise has been found to have many benefits when recovering from illness or injury. I am registered on the Register of Exercise Scientists (BASER), specialising in rehabilitation and have the knowledge and experience to guide you to feeling great.
Claire Hewison - Homeopath & Nutritionist
I qualified from the London College of Classical Homeopathy in 2001 and, after practicing for 4 years, felt that my practice would benefit from a deeper knowledge of nutrition, since poor diet appeared to be contributing to many of my patient’s conditions. I studied Nutrition and qualified from Raworth International College in 2005 and have practiced both therapies since then, having had clinics in Putney, Hammersmith and Harley Street. I am currently studying for an MA in psychodynamic therapy.
For the last 3 years, I have also worked in London’s Ainsworths Homeopathic Pharmacy, both in the pharmacy itself, preparing the remedies, and on the helpline, dealing with approx 30 cases during the working day, giving advice and homeopathic recommendations for a multitude of acute conditions.
I have experience in treating conditions (from birth to older people) including obesity, acne, anxiety, asthma, eczma, psoriasis, insomnia, post viral fatigue, digestive disorders (including IBS), thyroid disorders, hayfever and musculo skeletal concerns including injuries, muscle/joint pain and post surgery healing.

Sally Kettle - Personal Trainer
It’s all about you!
Personal Training is all about you! Whatever your goals, be it weight loss, improved posture and flexibility or just being able to run for the No.57 bus without being out of breath, I'm here to support you and help you achieve your goals.
We'll work on it together, and you know what they say? "A problem shared..."
The key to don't hope, do is variety. Each workout will be tailored to your abilities, but will include a mixture of:
Stability Training - to give you better posture, a stronger core, and better balance.
Flexibility Training - to loosen tight muscles and reduce injury
Strength Training - to help you lose weight and perform everyday tasks (like lifting heaving suitcases) with ease.
And finally...
Agility Training - to keep you quick on your feet.
About Sally
I've been fat and I've been thin, fit and then feeble. I know what it's like to train hard and be too hard on yourself. It's because of all of these experiences that I've decided to become a Personal Trainer. Without the support of the people in my life, I would not have been able to achieve my own goals.
I'm passionate about what I do and I would love to share that passion with you.

Michael DuPreez - Personal Trainer
The field in which I have excelled at is running and while working at a major health club chain I had a very high success rate with beginner and intermediate runners going from barely doing 1km to running a marathon. My years at university have helped understand biomechanics and posture so it has become a passion. I have a keen interest in motorsport and multisport events; decathlon, triathlons and heptathlon and worked closely with a British Sport Stock Motorcyclist.
Until January this year I was training for Ironman, during a training session I suffered a torn ligament in my knee and my chances were out, though with my knowledge of physiology, conditioning and will power, I have come back to be stronger.
I have been over weight and lost it; I have been injured and recovered. The key is ensuring that you have the right people to help and support you on your journey where ever it may lead you and I’m here to work with you so that you achieve your goals.

Pilates Teacher
I have practiced the Pilates method since 1997. Originally starting as a young dancer with lower back pain, I found Pilates helped not only with my injury, but specifically with my technical training.
I went on to perform as a professional dancer for 10 years, later incorporating aerial and circus skills. During my career Pilates helped with the everyday strains and stresses of such physical work. I have completed a five stage Pilates course over 18 months that covered everything from Basic Pilates to Rehabilitation, Pregnancy and Sports Specific components. I ran my own business in Sydney, Australia that included mat and equipment based sessions. I an enjoying continuing that work here in the UK. |

Having always been active and involved with a wide range of sports, I opted for a career which replicated my enthusiasm for health promotion and wellbeing. Studying Sport Rehabilitation at St. Mary's Twickenham held me in a strong position with a well-rounded understanding of injuries and rehabilitation. Throughout studying I had the pleasure of a placement with Harlequins RFC, as well as established physiotherapists and osteopaths.
Upon graduating I worked full time for London Welsh Rugby Club, becoming qualified in Immediate Pitch Side Trauma Care as well as Matwork Level 1 Pilates. I have had the opportunity to volunteer for some inspiring charities including those at the Moonwalk and the London Marathon, which I went on a year later to complete myself.
Having had a fantastic experience in the sports industry I am now broadening my knowledge by undertaking a degree in Physiotherapy at St. George's Hospital, Tooting. I look to further develop my skills within the musculoskeletal field as well as those within paediatrics and respiratory services.
