Marie Burbidge - Physio joins the team.
We are delighted that Marie Burbidge will join the team at Physio & More in May.

Marie joins us at a time where we are ever more busy and we know that for a few weeks it hasn't always been easy to get appointments you want so we've done something about it and we believe Marie will be an excellent addition to the team.
She joins us from working in Canary Wharf and she brings with her strong skills in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and she has a particular interest in working with injured dancers.

Wendelien Bellinger runs for charity
Wendelien Bellinger is one of our clients at Physio & More, please think about supporting her in raising some money for The Children's Trust as she undertakes two sponsored runs. A year ago Wendelien would not have believed she could do this - she can and with a little help, so could you!
From Wendelien:
Last year, my personal trainer here at Physio & More, Sally Kettle, convinced me that, despite my complete lack of confidence in my own running skills, I could, in fact, run! I was the one who would let a bus pass rather than run for it - there'd always be another bus! Nevertheless, I ran my first 10K in November and completed it in 1 hour and 5 minutes.
My goal this year is to participate in 2 races for charity, the Bupa London 10,000 on 27 May and the Windsor Half Marathon on Sunday 7 October. I aim to finish the London 10K in under 1 hour. As far as the Half Marathon is concerned... Well, I aim to just finish it!
As I prepare for my two challenges, I aim to raise £1,000 (or more!) amongst friends and family for The Children's Trust, a charity that provides the best possible care, therapy and education for children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs, in partnership with their families and other carers.
I would be so grateful if you would support me as I take on these two challenges by making a donation on my JustGiving page.
Your support is invaluable to the Trust and means a lot to me and will keep me training and running!
Simon Head cycles for charity
Simon is a great physio as many people know, most people don't know that Simon is also a great cyclist.

In September Simon will by riding in the Alps for three days, a tough undertaking by anyone's reckoning on part of the route covered by this year's Tour de France.
He's not just doing it because he enjoys pain and suffering (though some people he's treated may dispute that), he's riding to raise money for Action Medical Research, a charity that raises money to help with care of sick babies and children in the UK.
If you can help sponsor Simon please follow this link and make a donation. Please be generous, the pain of giving will be as nothing to the pain Simon will experience on some of the Alpine hill climbs! Thanks.
