Our chartered physiotherapists use a physical approach to restore, maintain and promote physical and psychological wellbeing. This can help people of all ages to relieve pain, restore normal movement and allow the body to function as efficiently as possible.

Almost all causes of pain, weakness, stiffness and loss of movement can be treated using physiotherapy. Physiotherapy treatment can be used if you are suffering from an acute injury or chronic pain, if you have had surgery like a knee or hip replacement.

Physiotherapy sessions are unique to each client so each session will be tailored to your needs and goals to help get you back doing what you would like to be doing and achieve your goals.

Ultrasound Therapy in Hampton Wick

We utilise state-of-the-art ultrasound scanning technology to provide a non-invasive treatment option for pain relief and tissue healing. Ultrasound therapy can be effective for conditions such as muscle strains, ligament sprains and tendonitis, promoting faster recovery and reducing inflammation.

These ultrasound injections offer relief for joint pain, including the knee, shoulder, or other inflamed areas and are often combined with ultrasound guidance to ensure accurate delivery to the targeted site.

Sports Massage in Hampton Wick

Our qualified sports massage therapists provide a deep form of soft tissue mobilisation that can be applied in a sporting and non-sporting context. Sports massage incorporates a wide range of different techniques which are used for general relaxation of the muscular skeletal system and also targeted towards any problem areas.

Sports massages can be used in a range of ways:

  • A sports massage helps to reduce delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS), helps as part of a rehabilitation programme, post event, pre-event and relieving tight muscles.
  • A sports massage can help reduce muscle spasms, flush out waste and increase blood flow to an area.

Acupuncture in Hampton Wick

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves inserting fine needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote healing. Our experienced acupuncturists use this ancient practice to help with pain management, stress reduction and overall wellbeing.

Acupuncture treatment is based on the theory that a healthy body is governed by the flow of energy, known as ‘qi’. The flow of qi can be disrupted in many ways: emotional upset, physical trauma, poor diet and stress are all common examples. By inserting fine needles at various points, it is hypothesised that the balance can be restored and pain or illness resolved.
